CM assures to industry delegate
A team comprising of heroes, producers and directors have met the chief minister of Andhrapradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy at his residence at Mangalagiri. Later the bigwigs of Tollywood appealed the chief minister to extend his support to stand the industry on its legs and to expand in Andhrapradesh too. They have requested the CM to help the industry like his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy to develop the industry at Visakhapatnam.
The delegates of the tollywood led by Chiranjeevi met the CM. Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Trivikram Srinivas, Daggbati Suresh, C.Kalyan and some others are in the team. The team members had a discussion with Jaganmohan Reddy regarding the development of the film industry in Andhrapradesh. Various issues ranging from the present issues due to lockdown to the development of infrastructure for the film industry were came into discussion. They have taken up the issue of the losses accumulated by the film theatres for the past three months due to lockdown and they appealed the government to waive the electricity bills to the film theatres. Apart from all these, the bigwigs requested him to organize festival of Nandi awards every year to encourage actors, technicians in the industry.
As per the information, the CM has positively responded to the all delegates and assured his heart full support to industry. After concluding of the meet, Chiranjeevi spoke to media and stated that the Chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has honoured their appeals and positively responded. He is committed to stabilize the film industry at Andhrapradesh. We are happy with this interaction.’ Chiranjeevi said.
