Somu Veerraju gives his mind to Sujana

BJP AP president Somu Veerraju seems to be very clear on the party’s sand on various issues, particularly related to the State.

There have been different views within the party particularly during the last three years. There are new leaders in the party with the Congress blood and the TDP blood. Those who have come from the Congress have their views, that, sometimes, contradict the original BJP stand.

There have also been some views expressed by those with the TDP blood. Most of their views go against the BJP and against the ruling YSR Congress. Their opposition to the ruling YSR Congress looked similar to the TDP line.

While leaders with the Congress blood like Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Daggubati Purandheswari realised and toed the line of the original BJP, the leaders with the TDP blood like Sujana Chowdary have been toeing the TDP line, confusing the people and the BJP ranks as well.

Surprisingly and shockingly, Kanna Lakshminarayana too toed the TDP line in the last three years, giving conflicting idea about the BJP in the state.

However, things seem to be coming to the track in AP BJP with Somu Veerraju taking charge. He had categorically stated that BJP is clear on the capital issue and would leave it to the State government. This statement is reiterated through a tweet in twitter through the official twitter handle of the BJP that Sujana Chowdary’s statement on capital is not that of the BJP.

Veerraju, by the official tweet, seems to have also sent a clear signal to the TDP leaders in the BJP that they cannot speak as they like, the way that they have been speaking so far. This sets to rest the conflicting views of the State BJP leaders.

A true RSS man, Somu Veerraju is set to give a clear road map for the party in the State, for good or bad. He is also clear about cleansing the party from the pro-TDP blood, which is the reason for the party’s poor presence in the state. He is expected to take the BJP away from the TDP’s shadow, a good move for the party to survive.
