RTC services resumed
1500 busses on service
After two months of long gap, the RTC has partially resumed it's services on trial basis. Only 1500 services all over the Andhrapradesh are resumed on Wednesday and the corporation is instructed to maintain all norms and protocols during the operation of busses. The tickets should be taken at the counters set up in the bus stations and no conductor would travel along with bus to issue tickets. Social distance is ensures while the journey and only one passenger is allowed in a seat which has provision to accommodate two passengers in normal days. Passengers including drivers are instructed to wear masks and wash hands with sanitizers without fail. Ofcourse the services running with the present norms, would fetch loss to the corporation but the government instructed the management to run the services for few days. The passengers below ten years and above 60 years are advised to avoid journies and travel only in unavoidable conditions.
The busses would run between 7 AM to 7 PM oy and all the busses would reach the depots by 7PM. On the other side the corporation has suspended all the concessional passes for students, senior citizens, journalists, physically challenged as the company is running the busses on loss as oy half of the seats only allowed to occupied by the passengers and the rest of the seats are remain vacant due the social distance policy.
