Raghurama is fraudulent, YSR MPs tell PM
In a swift development, the ruling YSR Congress MPs complained to Prime Minister Narendra Modi against Narasapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju, accusing him of indulging in financial fraudulent activities.
The MPs, led by Vijayasai Reddy also met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and submitted her a copy of the letter and the evidences to prove their charge against the MP, who is speaking against the defiant MP.
They requested Prime Minister to order CBI probe into the fraudulent deal of Raghurama Krishnam Raju with TV5 channel chairman. The MP had received Rs 11 crore from the TV channel chairman to speak against the YSR Congress leadership and chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, they said.
The MPs, led by Vijayasai Reddy also supplied some documents reportedly collected by the police who investigated into the issue in Andhra Pradesh.
The MPs said that the police had access to the mobile of the MP who had messages with the channel chairman on the deal and money transaction.
They requested the Prime Minister to initiate CBI case against the MP and his financial deals and take him into custody for interrogation.
