Full salaries to AP employees
Though the AP state government is facing fund crunch with the recent unexpected expenditure caused by the Corona and on the other side, the income was drastically fall down, the Chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is not stepping back in implementing any welfare scheme as well as, and the government staff is likely to get the complete salary in coming month of May.
On Thursday, Chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy holds a review meeting with the head of the departments and said good news to the staff. The government staff, who have been receiving only 50 percent salary for the past two months are now going to get complete salary in May. He approved to give for payment of full salaries for around four lakh employees with effect from May. It means, employees will not have any cuts in their salaries to be paid on June 1. Orders to this effect have been issued from the chief minister’s office to the finance department and treasury. The Central Finance Monitoring System will make changes in the treasury software by Thursday evening. This is a happy news for the employees is that Jagan is also contemplating reimbursing the 50 per cent money deducted from the employees’ salaries in the last two months. A decision to this effect will be taken shortly.
It is not exactly known whether it will be reimbursed at one go or paid in two or three instalments. But that will be a big relief to the employees, who are expressing happiness over the chief minister’s decision.
