A prestigious program undertaken the AP government to facelift the government schools and to provide more facilities has attracted the attention of the government of Delhi. The Deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has applauded the program (Nadu-Nedu) as a wonderful scheme and it would enhances the learning facilities in schools. The government of AP released the pictures of schools after face lifting have been widely circulated in social media.
The 'Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu' scheme for a complete facelift of the government schools in Andhra Pradesh has brought some impressive results.
Students and teachers are in awe looking at new and modern infrastructure, the schools have also become a talk of the town with many circulating 'Before and After' pictures of the schools in the state.The government has launched a drive to revamp all government institutions within three years.
As part of the first phase of the 'Nadu-Nedu' scheme, over 15,715 establishments have been taken up by the government for a complete facelift.
Under this scheme, the authorities have been instructed to ensure the selected schools are provided nine basic amenities like toilets with running water, Drinking water, electrical repairs, benches, chairs for students and staff, Green chalkboards, Painting of schools Compound walls would be provided in these selected schools. Sisodia has appreciated the efforts made by the government of AP to provide utmost facilities in the schools where the children of common man go for education.
