Searching for an opportunity - CBN plans to visit Ramateertham tomorrow
National president of TDP and former chief minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is visiting Vizianagaram district on Saturday. He will visit Ramateertham village of Nellimarla mandal in Vizianagaram district. He is expected to visit the Kodanda Ramaswamy temple at Bodikonda of Ramateertham village, where the idol of Srirama was damaged and the head was separated and dumped in the lake near by the temple. This incident has created flutter here and the cadre of Telugu Desam and BJP have staged dharnas and made the incident more sensational. Any how the government of AP has responded immediately and appointed Bhramaramba, RJD of endowments as inquiry officer and with in hours the search teams have found the head in the pond near by the temple. With this the TDP and BJP, who earlier planned to intensify the issue and to create sensation have stepped back and rolled back their plans to organize Padayatras. But now the TDP wants to sensationalize the issue and gain the support of the public. Interestingly Chandrababu Naidu never visit such places in the past one and half year. Even he didn’t visit the Venkatapuram, of Visakhapatnam city where a dozen of people have breathed their last in poisonous gas leaked in LG Polymers. He came to Andhrapradesh from Hyderabad after attaining permission from AP government and organized Mahanadu through Zoom app and went back to Hyderabad but he didn’t visit Venkatapuram and console the victims. Actually Naidu appealed the party cadre not to come to him to convey new year wishes due to Covid. But now he is travelling from Hyderabad to Ramateertham to gain political mileage. It indicates that Chandrababu is a political opportunist and he would slide to utmost downward for the political benefit. If the government permits him to visit Ramateertham, he would come to Vizianagaram.
