Officials announce to evacuate low-lying areas
Once again the government of Andhrapradesh, ministry of water resources has announced low lying area of Krishna river to evacuate their homes as the water flow in the river would be abnormally raised due to heavy rains in catchment areas. The house of the TDP Chief N.Chandrababu Naidu, which is located at Karakatta, on the bund of river in Undavalli of Amaravathi area also under threat of flood. The areas have received same alarming notices few weeks back and again the same situation is arrived. The revenue, water resources officials also have announced the public to relocate from there to save themselves from flood and even they have served notices to the home of Chandrababu Naidu forecasting the flood in next few days. They are expecting six lakh cusecs of water into the river in a day by evening and therefore, those who are staying on the river banks should move out. The officials have been expecting that heavy floods in coming few hours and alerted the people of these areas. There is every possibility that all the constructions on the river bank on both sides of Prakasam barrage might get submerged. Owners of another 36 constructions along with Chandrababu Naidu on the river bank were served notices, sending warning signals about the submergence of their properties. The officials have served same notices to those houses in the past few weeks.
