BJP to strengthen in its own

Somu Veerraju an advantage for BJP

It seems that BJP is aiming to strengthen itself by appointing Somu Veerraju as the chief of AP state unit. The high command felt that the leaders like Kanna Laksmi Narayana are not much useful for the party and to strengthen it in the state for ever. So finally the high command has replaced him with Veerraju, a hardcore worker of BJP with more than 35 years of association with RSS. It looks like the national leadership has decided to renovate the state wing in AP by inducting some more committed workers in several districts. Similarly the party has sent strong message for the leaders by serving show cause notices to the leaders like Lanka Dinakar for violating party line. The sudden removal of Kanna from the state BJP president post and replacing him with MLC SomuVeerraju is also believed to be part of the overhauling exercise, sources said. Veerraju, who took charge as the state party president, sought to project that everything is perfect in the party. He said there was no truth in the reports that Kanna was sacked.

“My appointment is part of the nationwide exercise to replace the state BJP presidents with new faces. There is nothing unusual about it,” he said. Veerraju announced that the party would take an aggressive approach against the YSR Congress party government in the state. Now the leaders who want to be in good books of Chandrababu Naidu have to chose the option whether to continue in BJP or switch over into Telugu Desam. Somu confirmed that he will treat Telugu Desam how it has treated the BJP.

On the other side, the Yellow media is screaming on this sudden sacking of Kanna as state Chief and started running debates over the channels. The channels are trying to sling mud on BJP and showering showers of sympathy on Kanna Lakshminarayana. Some channels state that YSRCP might have played key role in terminating of Kanna and bringing Somu on that position.
