Assembly sessions from 16 June
The Andhraprades legislative assembly and council sessions would be started from 16 June and it would be a budget sessions. Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan will address the inaugural session of both the Houses on that day. During this session, the state government, which went for a vote-on-account budget in March, will introduce a full budget in the Assembly for its approval. The session has an importance for Rajya sabha elections to be held on Jun 19. Prior to that the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan would be chaired a cabinet meet on 11 June.
Rajya Sabha elections to be held on June 19, all the MLAs should attend the Assembly session to cast their vote. Keeping this in view, the government has decided to advance the budget session to July 16 to meet this date. Minister for finance Financ RajendranathReddy will introduce the Budget in the Assembly on June 18. The government will introduce Andhra Pradesh Environmental Protection Bill and some other bills in the assembly.
